An expression of delight erupts from within. Elicited from a power not of this world.
For I have seen this world in all it’s glory, yet as I look out now I see despair.
Sadness. Loneliness. Fear. Anger. Blame. Impatience. Carelessness. Disrespect. Egocentricity.
We as the rulers of the Earth have taken Liberties.
Yet, do we really please to act with such disrespect?
We have lost all sense of humanity.
Egocentric, we have become a race of narcissism.
What profit has this brought us?
The Earth weaps to cleanse, gasps for fluidity, pleads with us to cease this pollution.
What inconvenience to take responsibility.
Our manic lives forbid us from seeing the damage is our doing.
Not only to ourselves but to those around us. To life around us.
Our mundane activities leave us lonely, depressed, wandering, hopeless.
We sit here questioning our feelings of dismay.
We fail to notice how WE are the ones who have created such chaos.
No, we say, “It was YOU.” We wouldn’t dare create such despair, but YOU and your evil desires would wish the worst.
Our faces red with frustration. We look around with seemingly no where to turn.
With so little focus on the outer world we do not look above. We are ashamed.
Deep in the core of our being there is a feeling of guilt. We supress it.
The bottle is empty beside us, numb to our destruction of self.
Searching for A quick fix to a problem which took years to create.
We do not see there is no hasty method of restoration.
Impatience surrounds our being. There is no time, no space for amelioration.
Yet, we find the time for obliteration. Mother Nature strikes back with it's own powers of seeming destruction.
Taking back the land with which we have built upon. We suffer for those who have lost their land.
Now I ask of you, Who suffers for Land itself being lost?
We are impetuous, which coincides with our restless nature.
What a cyclical existence we lead. CYCLICAL!
Is that the way we desire to lead our lives?!
Repeating the same thing over and over hoping for different results!? It is the definition of INSANITY!
Yet, our egocentric minds dare not see it as such. BE AWARE! Our decisions do in fact effect all that surrounds us.
We have a Great Power elicited from a power not of this World!
Let us use it for it's intended purpose of Virtue.
Creating Vs. Destroying. Hoping Vs. Despairing.
Being the Change we wish to see in the World.
