Controling the Confusion

It's the things that we could so easily say Yes to that we should say No to.
What is the sense in fighting it? I tell you the truth. When the reason you fight it is for your own betterment. What is this obsession with wanting to be wanted. Doing all that we can to have those around us desire us. We wish they would continue to desire us even when we don't give them what they want.
Yet it seems that isn't the truth. Even in my case. I lost my desire for what I thought I wanted when I wasn't feeling I was given what I wanted. It isn't selfish. It's just truth. If you aren't getting what you want, you will either try to get what you want or let it go. In letting go you find you desire harder than before. Merely for the sake of deprivation. To deprive is to desire. We are fighting our nature. To show our strength against the flesh we resist that which we wanted before. We no longer desire this action of the flesh for the simple fact that it is to much confusion. Confusion clouds the judgment of daily activities. Daily thoughts begin to focus around that which is a distraction. A distraction from self perfection, which is non-existent. Self Improvement however is a possibility. If that improvement comes at the price of sacrifice then so be it. For that is the highest goal in life. Sacrificing that which we desire to prove to ourselves we are in control and we are not being controlled by anything but our own decisions.
