My Father is much more fun than I thought he was.
His side of the family is hilarious.
It's interesting when you meet people of your extended family.
My Father and I are similar in so many ways.
Even though I wasn't even raised by him.
Bursting out into song at a random time for example... I do that all the time! SO DOES HE!
My friend said that we have the same eyes. I think so too.
This really makes me so grateful for this time of my life. I am so grateful that he has the desire to get to know me. I am so happy that I am able to be here.
I am being taken care of so well. Their home here is so much a HOME and not just a House... Which I feel is what I am used to living in...
It makes me think of my little sister and how I wish she could have a HOME.
The thing is though that we all should be grateful for whatever it is that we DO have.
Instead of thinking about the things we wish we had. At the end of the day if you have a bed to rest your head at night that is something to be grateful for.
If you have clothing on your back.
If you have even one person that loves you, including yourself, you have every reason to be grateful.
If you can breathe properly.
If your body is intact.
If you have eyes that can see.
If you are alive you have life to be grateful for.
Remember: In life we have a choice to see the things we have as wonderful blessings or to constantly look for what we wish we had.
