What the Fuck is Love anyway?
In my mind it isn't selfish.
Is it possible though to Love
someone even when they don't love you the same way?
I once thought this was a possibility however, I have
seen myself act differently. A subconscious decision to
treat someone the way you felt they have treated you come out.
A desire to make someone feel can sometimes be a difficult desire to deal with.
Truly we aren't in control of another's feelings. Yet it feels sometimes like
other people control our own emotions. Which I believe would lead us to the conclusion
that we are able to control others emotions. It's false. A lie. We all create in ourselves the
feelings that come. If you think about it this way.
I might Love a certain book and someone else doesn't. Does that mean the Book itself
is enjoyable or unenjoyable. No. It means that the perspective that reads the Book decides.
WE HAVE A POWER WE SOMETIMES FAIL TO CONTROL. Stop letting other people control your emotions.
It's a line I repeat to myself every time I feel controlled.
